幸福仅仅有爱还不够

 

    幸福仅仅有爱还不够，还需要智慧。常言道：人性本善。现实中往往是，即使心中有爱，还是会造成不愉快，还是会有误会、猜疑、间隙，还是会有好心办坏事。所以，要幸福快乐仅仅有爱还不够，还需要智慧。

 

    所谓智慧，就是指做事的正确方法。几何中，两点间的距离以直线最短；而人世上，往往是特定的曲线才能最快达到目的。这就是所谓的智慧。成长中的人们，寡的就是这些智慧。

 

    佛家哲学认为，人们痛苦的根源来自于一种称为“无明”的心魔。“无明”，用现在的语言来说，也可以称作无知。 造成人们痛苦最主要的三种“无明”就是，贪、嗔、痴三念。贪，是指对不属于自己的东西的奢望；嗔，是指哀怨、憎恨等不好的情绪；痴，是指对该放下的东西的不舍。无明的存在，导致人们用错误的方法、错误的态度、错误的情绪去处理事情，并进而得到令人失望的结果。即使是心中有爱的人，也会被“无明”所困扰，产生矛盾，困惑与苦恼。克服“无明”、达到开悟的方法是智慧。

 

    智慧与聪明不同。智慧只是人选择或创造正确做事方法的能力。有智慧的你，可以找到到达目的地的那条最短的特定曲线，沿着那条曲线走，你的速度不一定很快，却能最快达到终点； 而徒有聪明的人，虽然速度很快，但是山重水复，可能永远绕不出无明的迷宫。

Love is not enough to ensure happiness

 

Love is not enough to ensure happiness; it also requires wisdom. It is said that all men are born of good nature. But sufferings like misunderstanding or mistrust among people, and tragedy out of kindness, can always come to diturb the harmonious life of kind people who bear love inside.  Thus, love is not sufficient for happiness, which asks for wisdom.

 

Wisdom means the very way to make things right. Geometrically, a straigt line is the shortcut between two point; but it is not the case in the real world. Follwing a specific curve might arrive at you desitination with less time and less sweat. This here the specific curve is what we call wisdom. And this is the very thing young people lack for their happiness.

 

In the philosophy of buddism, all the sufferings of human are coming from ignorance. The three primary ignorance among human are greed, hatred and attachment. Greed means people's craving for things that do not belong to them. Hatred is unhealthy emotions evoked inside one's mind. Attachment describes people's longing for things that should leave.  These ignorances lead people to do things with the unsuitable attitude, improper emotion and wrong methods, resulting in disappointment or even tragedy. The cure for ignorance is wisdom, which can finally lead to enlightenment.

 

Wisdom and cleverness are different. With cleverness you can work very fast, but not necessarily acheive the aim earlist, for a strait line may not be a shortcut. But wisdom can tell you which path to take, the path that finally lead to happiness.
